GEMA I COLLECTION SOCIETY

We are implementing a pilot project together with GEMA and SoundAware for the automatic monitoring of live music – and you are part of it!

What does this mean for you?

  • No stress with setlists – nothing needs to be submitted manually anymore.

  • Fast, simple & complete tracking – nothing gets lost.

  • Faster and fairer royalty distribution – GEMA ensures more accurate payouts.

  • No effort & no costs for you – we take care of everything.

How does it work?
SoundAware automatically detects which songs are played – without making audio recordings. The captured signal is used solely for monitoring and is not stored or used for any other purpose. This ensures full transparency and fairness for you.

If you do not wish to participate, please let me know by Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the latest. In that case, you will need to submit your setlist yourself.

AWARENESS

At DEICHBRAND Festival, we have set out to further develop our festival with a focus on awareness and your well-being. We recognize that this is an ongoing process that we, as a festival team, want to shape together with all our staff, guests, and artists. Our awareness concept includes information that applies to everyone. Please read the following points carefully.

At DEICHBRAND, we want to promote respectful interaction. Therefore, we do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination.
If you experience harassment or discrimination, you can receive support from our Awareness Team at any time.

Boundaries between guests/staff and artists (power imbalance)

You should be aware that there is always a power imbalance between fans or staff and artists. As a result, relationships, sexual encounters, and other interactions can be complicated, and you should take this into account in all your actions and communications.

Reference to the Awareness Team

We would appreciate it if you could mention the Awareness Team from the stage and emphasize that we do not tolerate discrimination or harassment, as we want to create a positive festival experience for everyone. As artists, you have a strong influence on the audience, and it would be great if you used your reach to help us create a safer space where everyone feels comfortable.

Please remember that festivals can also be stressful: take good care of yourselves and make sure to eat enough and drink plenty of water.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact Johanna (+49 179 8252620) from the Awareness Team, who will be on site.

It is important to us that we treat each other with sesitivity and respect. True to our motto: ONE FESTIVAL, ONE FAMILY, ONE LOVE.

With that in mind, we’re looking forward to an amazing DEICHBRAND 2026 with you!

CODE OF CONDUCT

We offer all artists equal opportunities to perform at our events. We do not tolerate any statements or behavior that aim to or result in discrimination or harassment based on skin color, religion, gender, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, health condition, or sexual orientation. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment by anyone - whether managers, artists, supervisors, employees, suppliers, or our guests.

If you observe behavior that you believe to be discriminatory or harassing, or if you feel that you have been subjected to discrimination or harassment in any way while working with us or performing at our events, you should report this immediately to your contact person at ESK Events & Promotion GmbH.

We not only prohibit unlawful discrimination, but also take measures to ensure that everyone within our company and in collaboration with us is treated equally, regardless of skin color, religion, gender, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, health condition, sexual orientation, etc. If we become aware of an incident of harassment or discrimination, we will investigate the matter, and if the investigation confirms that harassment or discrimination has occurred, the company will take appropriate action against the offending individual.
